Locust control operation
Rajasthan: Helicopter has been deployed in Jaisalmer for locust control operation. An official says, “The helicopter has left for the area where aerial spraying will be done, after the pesticide was loaded on it. Use of helicopter will help in managing large areas efficiently.”
Nagaland: Out of 411 samples tested, 23 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed; 21 in Peren & 2 in Kohima.
Total positive cases stand at 562, of which 334 are active cases and 228 have recovered.
