More Victorian venues have been placed on alert as health authorities race to contain low levels of community coronavirus transmission across the state.

The latest cases are two people linked to a bayside Thai restaurant who then travelled to New South Wales.

The Victorian government sent out a statement on Friday saying the pair attended the Buffalo Smile Thai restaurant on December 21 – but the restaurant in Melbourne’s southeast isn’t the only venue that has been exposed to COVID-19.

Anyone who has visited any of the following locations during the date and time indicated must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.
