Telangana crosses 67K mark in Covid cases, death toll at 551Telangana on Monday announced 983 new Covid positive cases, which take the total to 67,660 cases by Sunday night, consisting of 65.6% men and 34.4% women. The state suffered 11 Covid deaths afresh to take the total death toll to 551 so far, translating into a case fatality rate of 0.81% as against the national average of 2.13%. Of the deceased, 46.13% died of Covid and 53.87% due to comorbidities. Telangana announced 1,019 recoveries over the past 24 hours to take the total recoveries to 48,609 persons, constituting a recovery rate of 71.8% as against the national average of 65.44%.
